The Festival is dedicated to issues relating to migrations, particularly second-generation migrants, coexistence, identity and multiculturality. The Migranti Film Festival competition sections will give space to new languages and particularly the audiovisual practice of participatory video.

The theme chosen for 2017 is the universal value of “Coexistence,” represented by ways of understanding each other through different cultures, languages and religions and their minglings, including gastronomic.

FESTIVAL SECTIONS:

  • International Feature/Documentary Film section
  • International Short Film section
  • Out of Competition section

Films in languages other than Italian must be subtitled in English, and a version with Italian subtitles would be appreciated.

The winner of the International Feature/Documentary Film section will be awarded €1,000, while the winner of the International Short Film section will be awarded €500.
