Any film with a gay, lesbian, transsexual, transvestite, or bisexual theme, shot on film or videotape, is eligible to compete in this Festival.

All films selected for competition in the festival will compete in the category Feature Lenght Films (fiction films longer than 60 minutes).

Participation in DIVERSO implies authorization to exhibit the applying productions in Panama and the other cities where the Festival presents on tour during 2020 and 2021.
