General requirements for all competitions: Audiovisual productions may be documentary, fiction, and / or animation, and must have been completed after to January 1, 2013; in High Definition (HD), 2K, 4K or other format with quality not less than 1080-pixel horizontal lines. English or Spanish subtitles are mandatory in case the language is different to them.
International Competition: Participate in this section, national and international films; with more than 60 minutes duration and not having public exhibition in the Region Cuyo.
Argentinean Competition: Argentine films participate and international co-productions that have Argentina as a producer, with more than 60 minutes duration and have had no public exhibition in the Region Cuyo.
MENDOC Regional Competition: Short films, made in Región de Nuevo Cuyo, provinces of Mendoza, San Juan, San Luis and La Rioja. The duration of the films should be up to 15 minutes.
Work in Progress: Argentinean feature film production, and production of short films of Region of Nuevo Cuyo.
New Audiovisual Formats: Participants of this section, audiovisual productions and international co-productions Argentinean origin having Argentina as a producer. These productions must have been produced in order to be released outside of film circuit, originating from its conception to WEB spaces or Digital Television Broadcasting.
- Web Series compete in this segment audiovisual productions in Argentina whose opening has been made on the web and uploaded for viewing at least 6 chapters, from 1 January 2013.
- Open Digital Television.
