Copies must be subtitled in Spanish or English and produced after January 1st 2015.
There will be no restrictions as to themes or subjects and the maximum length will be twenty (20) minutes, including credits.
Fiction: Puerto Rican Category: Participation by Puerto Rican directors and/or collectives and by foreign directors that can prove uninterrupted residence in Puerto Rico for the last three (3) years. Only shorts filmed in its entirety in Puerto Rico will be accepted in this category.
Fiction: Puerto Rican/Foreign: Participation by Puerto Rican directors and/or collective and by foreign directors that can prove uninterrupted residence in Puerto Rico for the last three (3) years, and produced outside of Puerto Rico but directed by a Puerto Rican film maker.
Fiction: International Category: Participation by foreign directors and/or collectives, including citizens of the United States of America.
Animated short films: Puerto Rican Category: Participation by Puerto Rican directors and/or collectives and by foreign directors that can prove uninterrupted residence in Puerto Rico for the last three (3) years. Only animated short films filmed in its entirety in Puerto Rico will be accepted in this category.
Animated short films: International Category: Participation by foreign directors and/or collectives, including citizens of the United States of America.
