TOURFILM SECTION is a section dedicated to audiovisual tourism promotion. In this section you can compete films of the following types:
- Commercials (less than 1’)
- Advertising Campaigns
- Promotional Films (less than 15’)
- Animation Films
In this section there are 10 thematic or genres related to tourism, each submitted film can select up to three thematic or genres listed: Tourism Destinations, Cultural Tourism, Sports Tourism, Adventure Tourism, Hotels & Resorts, Events, Fairs & Congress, Health Tourism & Wellness, Nature & Rural Tourism, Gastronomic Tourism, Enotourism, Tourism Routes.
DOC SECTION is a section dedicated to Documentaries and Television Programs. In this section can compete films of the following formats:
- Short films (up to 30’)
- Documentaries (up to 90’)
- TV Programs
- Webdocs
- Independent Travel Videos (up to 25′)
The DOC section accepts films of the following themes: Sports & Recreation, Adventure, Expeditions & Travelling, Environment & Ecology, Nature & Wildlife, Ethnography & Society, Arts, Music & Culture, Biographies, History & Heritage.
All festival entries must have been produced after January 1, 2018.
All festival entries can have any language version. Non-English and non-Portuguese versions compete in the same categories together with the English and Portuguese versions. Entries not produced in English or Portuguese language must have either: Subtitles in English or Voice-over in English or Written synopsis in English. Full scripts are not accepted.
