The scope of the contest is international. Each participant may submit as many works as you want, spoken or subtitled in Spanish, which do not exceed, with titles including, 30 minutes and have not been presented in previous editions.

The prizes to be awarded are:

BEST SHORT FILMS OF THE FICT

First prize: 5000€ and Golden Cow award 

Second prize: 2500€ and Silver Stele award

Third prize: 1000€, Stone Stele award and distribution to 50 festivals by PROMOFEST.

BEST COMEDY SHORT FILM : 2000€ and Golden Stele.

BEST ANIMATED SHORT FILM: 2000€, Golden Stele award and video camera courtesy of SONY CENTER.

BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM : 2000€ and Golden Stele award.

"ALTAMIRA" AWARD to the best documentary short film, made by a Cantabrian author, that best reflects society, customs and landscapes of Cantabria: 1500€ and Golden Stele. *

"DOBRA" AWARD  to the best fiction short film, made by a Cantabrian author: 1500€ and a trophy. *

"JULIO NÚÑEZ" AWARD to the best actress and best actor of the FICT: diploma and trophy.

This award will be determined and given by a jury composed by members of the UNIÓN DE ACTORES Y ACTRICES DE MADRID.

UNED AWARD FOR MEMBERS OF THIS UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY: 600€, trophy and diploma.

COLLABORATION AWARD to distributors, producers or entities that have participated or involved supporting the FICT: diploma and Golden Stele.
