"38Retinas", is an annual traveling film festival, whose objective is to bring the best of short films and audiovisuals from any corner of the world, to the 38 municipalities of the region of El Bierzo who so wish.

- Films shot in any format and produced with after January 1, 2018.

- The maximum duration of the participating short films in the competitive official section may not exceed 30 minutes.

- That film whose original language is not Spanish must be subtitled in that language.

OFFICIAL SECTIONS

- Committed Looks: Short films of fiction, animation and documentary from any country or nationality that include social thematic content, with a critical background and committed to the current social reality, can participate. 

- Other Looks: Short films of fiction, animation and documentary from any country or nationality can participate, with free thematic content. Comedy or black humor, the relationship with the rural world and the positive approach with which the stories presented will be valued.
