The festival is open to short films of all production techniques, including animation, documentary, drama, experimental or artist film and hybrid work from low to high budgets. We are also open to feature films released since 2016. There is no production year required for short films.

 Short films must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits. Features must be between 60 and 150 minutes.

CATEGORIES:

Fiction

Open to any genre of fiction film including animation, and experimental.

Documentary

Open to all documentary films.

Animation

Open to all animation films.

Student

Open to anyone currently in education, for any genre of film.

Comedy

Open to all comedy films.

Best Bristol Film

You must currently reside within 50 miles of Bristol to be eligible for this award. All genres of film are allowed.
