Cine Curtas Lapa is a non-profit independent festival with free admission.

The Festival aims to show films that have been performed or its theme is the city of Rio de Janeiro, in order to promote the audiovisual industry in Brazil, especially the short films in the most traditional neighborhood of Rio's. The idea is to enrich the cultural life of the bohemian neighborhood.

- Short films: Up to 15 minutes

- Medium lenght films: From 30 to 69 minutes.

- Feature films: More than 70 minutes.

This year the festival is open for filmmakers from all over the world. The films must be subtitled in Portuguese preferably (or English).

Mostra Sao Pablo 2014: Only for productions from Sao Pablo and ABC Paulistas (Deadline September 15th 2014)
