The KIWEFF will strive to screen movies with a central focus on the natural world.

Theme : Wild Life, Birds, Environment Conservation, Wildlife Conservation, Livelihoods

Submission to the Festival is open to the following CATEGORIES:

Feature Films (more than 30 minutes)
Short Films (less than 30 minutes)
Animation Films (any duration)
Documentary Films (any duration)
Advertising (PSA) (less than 6 minutes)
Student Film (any duration)

All the films may be produced after 1 January, 2011 will be included under Competition Section of the festival program.

Registration for the Kolkata International Wildlife & Environment Film Festival is completely free.
