Music videos must have been completed on or after January 1, 2017.

Music videos must not be longer than 8 minutes.

No matter the language or genre of the videos.

Submitted music videos should not contain any [written] production credits at the end of the video (i.e. credit roll).

Best Narrative: music video with emphasis to originality of storyline; rewarding the scriptwriter of the video. 

Best Animation: an animated music video in any of the following formats – Stop-motion, 2-D, 3-D, computer animated; rewarding the animator of the video. 

Best Song: music video with an outstanding song/ track. Made for the artist/ band. 

Best Low Budget: music video produced with budget lower than 1000 Euros.

Best Cinematography: music video with focus to cinematography, creativity and attention to camera angles, composition, light as well as movement of the camera. Made for the cinematographer or director of photography of the video. 

Best Art Director: music video with attention to the makeup, styling, costumes, the scenes and appearance of objects in the composition; rewarding the art director or designer of the video. 

Most Trashy: music video that may be deemed too extreme or unacceptable for commercial/ mainstream media – e.g. dirty or funny in content, provocative, satirical, social commentary; nevertheless remaining true to its concept, production & direction. Rewarding the producer or director of the video. 

Best Visual Effects

Best Editor

Best Director: music video with remarkable creative contribution and input of the director to the video. Rewarding the director of the video. 

Best Concept: music video with emphasis on a strong or original concept; with remarkable execution and interpretation of a song. Rewarding the author of the concept. 

Most Bizarre: music video that is, as its name suggests, bizarre, mysterious, unconventional or something that cannot be boxed in with regards to its concept or its execution. Rewarding the producer or director of the video.

Best Experimental: music video that may be characterised by an avant-garde approach,using abstracting elements or techniques than what is conventional. Rewarding the author of the concept.  

All winners of the different categories will compete against the most prestigious award, Best Music Video (3000 euros).
