Festival open to feautre films must be films with dialogues or narrations in Spanish, if in another language subtitles in Spanish are mandatory.

Each country may submit multiple films for consideration for both competiton and for the non competitive section. For competition it is necessary that the films have been made ​​at least one year prior to the completion of this edition.
