  • NARRATIVE FEATURE: Any Narrative Feature, any Film Over 60 mins.
  • MUSIC FEATURE: Music is an art form, entertainment, or activity which involves organized sound and varies according to culture. Any film 60 mins that makes use of music, in its creation, performance, significance and even its definition, will be considered in this category.
  • FOREIGN LANGUAGE FEATURE: Any film in a language other than English. Over 60 mins. ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
  • EXPERIMENTAL FEATURE: Experimental - is an artistic practice relieving both of visual arts and cinema. Any Experimental Film over 60 mins will be considered in this category
  • DOCUMENTARY FEATURE: Documentary is a nonfictional motion picture intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record. Documentary is a broad category of visual expression that is based on the attempt, in one fashion or another, to document reality: a creative work of non-fiction, intended for cinema or TV release. Any Documentary Film over 60 mins will be considered in this category.
  • ANIMATION FEATURE: Any type of film that is animated and over 60 mins, will be accepted into this category.
  • ADVERTISING SHORT: Any Advertisement Less 2 minutes will be considered in this category.
  • ANIMATION SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum 
  • DOCUMENTARY SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum 
  • EXPERIMENTAL SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum 
  • FOREIGN LANGUAGE SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum. Any film in a language other than English. ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
  • MUSIC SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum 
  • NARRATIVE SHORT: 59 minutes - maximum 
  • TELEVISION SERIES

Attention!

Filmmakers who's film is selected will have to pass through the classification through Bureau Hong Kong. The cost of this classification for the festival filmmakers would be $2,5 per minute. For the films less then 55 minutes - minimum amount to pay is $125. The official Hong King government fee for such permission is US $HK65 per minute.
