INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: This section allows feature films, short films and music video of any nationality. The theme of the proposed work must be explicitly music-based (biographies of musicians and music producers, portraits of authors, singers or bands, reflections on music genres, critical insights, backstage stories pertaining to music in all its forms, etc.).
The competition is divided into three sections:
a) LONG-PLAY – Feature Films Competition: A Feature Film is considered a movie (fictional, experimental or a documentary) with a duration of more than 30 minutes. To be eligible, works must have been realized after the 1st January 2016 or been screened publicly for the first time after that date.
b) 7 INCH. – Short Films Competition: A Short Film is considered a movie (fictional, experimental or a documentary) with a duration of less than 30 minutes. To be eligible, works must have been realized after the 1st January 2016 or been screened publicly for the first time after that date.
c) SOUNDIES – Music Video Competition: The Festival recognizes as music-video a short film produced for a music track’s promotional or academic purposes. o To be eligible, works must have been realized after the 1st January 2017 in the music production field.
INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION Rising Sound: This is a non-competitive section and there are no restrictions regarding the date of production.
