The PDXtreme Film Fest is determined to be the best damn genre festival Portland Oregon has ever seen! Taking place over 3 days at the historic Academy Theater, we'll be showcasing horror, crime, dark comedy, and everything in-between. Tales of the grotesque, the limits of the psychological, and bumps in the night whatever the cause! Does it take place in space? That's cool too.

We will be dividing the films into three categories: short, medium, and feature.

• Short films: Narrative or documentary. 1-15 minutes in length
• Medium films: Narrative or documentary. 16 - 59 minutes in length
• Feature films: Narrative or documentary. 60 minutes and up in length.

English subtitles are mandatory for foreign films.

There is no specific production year limit. We do give preference films to films that are not publicly available.
