Documentary films are invited to take part in competition in all formats of film, video and digital. All running times, topics, style and production technologies can be submitted.

Filmmakers from any nationality can submit their films.

By entering a film in the DocuTIFF the filmmaker has the option to give us permission for his work to be screened in the festival theatrically or/and as well on the TV as part of TIFF's activities, “TIFF on Tour”, etc. Also, the owner of the film can give us the possibility to negotiate with the interested people to buy the film.

Films in competition must have been completed on or after 1st January 2016.

- All films must be an Albanian premiere.

- All non-English language films must be submitted with English subtitles.

- Feature films may not be shorter than sixty (60) minutes in length.

- Middle Length Doc 30’ - 60’

- Short films may not exceed thirty (30) minutes in length.
