The main aim of the FICC is to disseminate, promote and recognise short films, fostering audiovisual creativity, cultural dialogue and the discovery of new talent.

- Genres: Fiction, documentary, animated and experimental short films are accepted.
- Duration: The maximum duration is 30 minutes, including credits.
- Production: National and international works produced on or after 1 January 2022 are accepted.
