Participation is open to all producers and filmmakers of any nationality or origin.
Films subtitled in English or French are accepted in the selection process. The works finally selected must be in their original version with subtitles in Spanish (Castilian)
Each author can present the number of films that they want, except for films which have previously been submitted to this contest.
Sections:
# CINEMATOGRAPHIC SECTION: Art and essay films, fiction, experimental or documentary, feature films, medium-length films, and short films. # ANTHROPOLOGY SECTION: Anthropological cinema, ethnographic cinema, visual anthropology. Feature films, medium-length films, and short films. # FILM/ART SCHOOLS: Films made by students and/or proposals from schools that feel close to art cinema, not alienating consumerism and professionalization. Feature films, medium-length films, and short films. # FILMS FOR CHILDREN: A green ray for citizens who are still small in stature but big in vision. Feature films, medium-length films, and short films. # SECTION 2026 THEORY OF THE UNFINISHED: Films about “what could not be,” unfinished, infinite, abstract films, films without endings or with uncertain endings, films that deal with unfinished stories, lives, and events, anti-narratives, films that have been halted or are under construction, etc.
