- The Houston Latino Film Festival is open to professional and non-professional filmmakers working in the United States or abroad.

- Short Films are films 30 minutes or less.

- Eligible entries must have been produced between 2019 to the present.

- Eligible entries must have a Latino(a) in an "above the line" position (Producer, Director or Writer) and/or subject matter must have a relevant theme to the Latino/Hispanic community.

-All films must have English subtitles for all non-English language entries.
