Best Narrative Short film and Best Documentary/Reality Short Film 2016: These main sections of the festival are reserved for emerging filmmakers. Works that meet the following requirements may participate:

• It has to be the first or second director’s work/s or work made within a school, college or postgraduate.

• Being made after January 1, 2015.

• Do not exceed 30 minutes.

• Must have Spanish subtitles in case the language is different to Spanish.

The Festivaluco: To participate in the competition section there’re not need to be a emerging filmmaker, but works have to be especially suitable for young audiences participant in 'The Festivaluco' educational program. 

Best feature film: For first or second director’s work/s. The festival will invite the films to participate but you can send yours for us to value it if you want.
