Since 2018, CINELEBU is the only film festival in Chile qualifier of short films for the Oscar® Awards in the categories, International Animation, Regional and International Fiction.

International Fiction Short Film /International Documentary Short Film/International Animation Short Film:

- All those works with their post-production process completed between November 1st, 2018, and October 1st, 2019 will be able to participate.

- Maximum length: 30 minutes including credits.

Regional Fiction Short Film/ Regional Documentary Short Film:

- Official selection for works and directors from Chile or abroad that highlight topics of regional interest and / or locations and / or characters, and develop fiction or documentary genre according to category to apply, they must include in their history, different locations to the Metropolitan Region (Santiago de Chile).

- All those works can participate with their post-production process completed from November 1st, 2018, until October 1, 2019.

- Maximum length of film is 30 minutes, credits included.

Films must be presented on its original version in Spanish or subtitled in Spanish.
