The competition is open to movies about anthropology, human rights, war, integration, civil rights.

The Festival is divided into several sections:

INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION: Documentaries (31’ or more) completed after January 1, 2013 of any nationality may be submitted for the selection process.

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION: or Short films (30’ or less) completed after January 1, 2013 of any nationality may be submitted for the selection process

Works in a foreign language must be subtitled in English or in Italian; in case of selection of the work to the final stage, a dialogue list in English is needed in addition to the required documentation
