Feature films - 50 minutes and over running time 

Mid-length films - 16- 49 minutes long running time 

Short films - 15 minutes or less running time

SpIFF will NOT consider open submissions that were publicly screened before September 1, 2014 or works that are readily available (i.e. without password protection) on the internet, except in extraordinary circumstances. 

NORTHWEST CATEGORY: films that have a significant Pacific Northwest component, including Washington, Idaho, Oregon, British Columbia, and Alberta.
